I can't believe I get to do this

Yesterday was one of those days that I was saying the following statement, "I can't believe I get to do this".  You see, I did a funeral yesterday for a uncle of a leader in our church.  During the funeral I felt a strong urge to do a spiritual challenge time where those that don't know Christ could accept His Grace, Mercy & Forgiveness!  SO, I did.  Five to eight hands went up.  Young and old.  I can't believe it.  I drove away thinking, man I can't believe I get to do this.

The today I got an e-mail from two friends and they copied me on an e-mail that was from a friend that have been praying for a long time.  The e-mail said, did Pastor Chris tell you that I was one of the ones that raised my hand?

NOW, I don't know about you, but this messed me up.  That God can still use someone like me to reach people for Him.  You can too.  How long has it been since you had a "I can't believe I get to do this day?"

Many of us long for days like that, so I want to give you a formula to get started:
1.  Begin your day with a prayer that says, "God USE me today, today I submit myself to your Holy Spirit.

2.  Through out your day look for opportunities that you can share your faith or help someone.  WARNING: This will take you laying down your pride, schedule, selfishness etc.

3.  When that time comes, follow the leading of the Holy Spirit and Love like you've never loved, show grace like God has shown Grace to you.

By the way, Sunday is coming and I've decided to wait til then to make a HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!  Don't miss it.
