My Ten Commandments for Purity

I shared yesterday in the message that I would post my Ten Commandments for Purity.  I would encourage you to do what I have done and make them your own- personalize them, then print them on a card to carry with you.

My Own Ten Commandments for Sexual Purity

1. I will have no other human relationship before Linda including the kids.
2. I shall remember date night and keep it HOLY!
3. I will always view Linda through the eyes of Jesus as my bride, my treasure and the standard of beauty in my life.
4. I will never think I am above temptation.
5. I shall not spend time alone with another woman or travel alone.
6. I shall not talk about my spouse in a negative manner so that it might go well with me in the land the Lord has provided.
7. I shall not discuss the intimate details of our marriage with anyone other than Linda.
8. I shall not watch pornography or expose myself to other illicit materials that would cause me to lust after other women and to devalue my wife to a mere sex object.
9. I shall not confuse fantasy and reality.
10. I shall remember the implications of breaking the 7th commandment which is “Thou shalt not commit adultery.
