Karen Blankenship Executive Assistant to Lead Pastor
Today our Belton campus was buzzing. Not with the usual crowd of LifeQuesters preparing for the weekend, but a crowd of people who have never even attended LifeQuest. Several months ago we were approached with a request to use our building to host a fundraiser for a missing teenager. One of the things I love about LifeQuest is the passion to serve our community in whatever way we can! So of course, we agreed to the event. Tonight happened to be the LQ band rehearsal for the weekend worship experience. I was able to spend a few moments talking with the stepfather of the missing girl. He commented about how he liked the music and the hospitality of LifeQuest. It wasn't what he expected! He told me he might just come and check out one of our services! Reaching out, meeting people where they are, building bridges, and then introducing them to Jesus! That's what I call a HOME RUN!
