Sunday Night Mind Dump

WOW!  What a day.  Today was the first day back in the Belton Campus and I have a lot to share.
  • First let me Thank EVERY SINGLE Person that volunteered hundreds of hours to make today possible.  I love being your Pastor!!!
  • Even in the summer when people are on vacation our attendance was 265.
  • Great heartfelt Worship today.  Loved the way everyone got into the worship music.
  • I preached on just three hours of sleep and went to Burger King to get a LARGE coffee to get me going.  NOTE:  I said Burger King because I am trying to save money.  Sorry Starbucks, maybe tomorrow.
  • The KidzQuest areas looked Great.
  • Love the nursery colors and design.
  • KidzQuest had a huge bump in attendance from the last eight weeks.
  • I preached on servanthood today if you missed it, check out our podcast.
  • The 9:15 service was much more alive, alert, awake, enthusiastic than the 11AM, go figure.
  • We are launching a NEW Church website and Blog site in the next five weeks.
  • This week is going to be Great, our staff is going on a Staff Advance (as opposed to a staff retreat- we don't retreat, we advance) it is going to be HUGE in the life of our church so pray that God will give us wisdom as we evaluate and make changes that will make us more effective.
  • Excited about our New Student Ministries Director - I will be introducing him in the next few week.
  • Had 2 salvations today!  Yeah GOD!!!
  • Tomorrow I start a new life style in eating and exercise, so I had McDonald's tonight with a large Dr. Pepper.
  • I am drained, headed for bed.

Great message Sunday! My wife hates feet so it really got her attention. She said she would have to serve in some other capacity that she didn't think she could do feet!
