Sunday Night Mind Dump

Ok, because of the holiday, I'm a little off schedule but I do have some thoughts from Sunday.

  • The whole service hit a chord with people - what to do when Life Deals YOU a BAD hand.
  • I feel like we are getting back to our sweet spot as a church.
  • The video of Steven Curtis Chapman family tragedy was incredible.  For everyone to hear from a family that has been through trouble in the last few months.
  • During the video I don't think there was a dry eye in the place.
  • The new LED lights were off the chain.
  • I'm excited about our new stage hands, they are making it easier to transition through the service.
  • Thank you to Louie Giglio for the outline on Trouble in life.
  • The message was really received well!!!
  • I am hearing some great comments about our children's ministry - GO LACY!
  • Looking forward to this coming Sunday, the Chiefs kickoff the football season and the message I am working on is going to ROCK YOUR WORLD!
