I have been thinking a lot about growing myself as a child of God and as a husband, father and pastor. In recent conversations it has dawned on me that the average person doesn't do much to grow themselves. I think this is a tragedy! Let me say it again, that is an absolute tragedy. No wonder marriages are dying, fathers are discouraged, moms want to give up. If you do what you've always done you will get what you've always gotten.
I am encouraging you right now to sit some time aside to evaluate your life and ask, how much have I grown over the last year?. If the answer is not much then I'm telling you no wonder that you are discouraged, weak, miserable God wants you to grow. How do you grow? I'm glad you asked and tomorrow I will share how I continually try to grow.
