My mind is blown

Just got back from a church planters conference where we talked about how do you start a church planting movement. God did so many things in my heart--really it is a building affect of what He's been up to in the last year. Here's some high lights of how God is blowing my mind:

1. We have complicated Christianity in the USA - Jesus made it simple and we have made it hard. Jesus meant for us to Love God and Love People - By the way the two go together so if you love God but not people then I bet you don't really love God. Just a thought.
2. The foundation of the church has to be solid, now all of this stuff I knew but had drifted away from.
3. I can't live, breathe or live WITHOUT my time with Jesus. To be honest with you, I have let ministry crowd out my time with Jesus. I have began to study the Word in order to preach a sermon but have stopped studying the Bible for me as a person. SO my TIME with Jesus these days is a Priority no matter what's on my schedule.
   
4. If you look at any MOVE of God, you will find people at the core who spend incredible amount of time with Jesus!
5. Life on Life - WHO are YOU mentoring - 2 Timothy 2:2 check it out. Another words, who are you discipling? Who are you passing on your faith to? If we fail to do this, Jesus will not spread to the nations.
6. Live simple so other's can simply live - wow what a concept.
7. People will hurt you but you have to lean into Jesus and put your trust there.
8. The Gospel is never spread with passivity.
9. What are you doing that you need to stop doing?
10. What are you not doing that you need to start doing?

These are just a few things God is speaking into my life over the last six months to a year.
