I just came off of my first ever sabbatical. During my time away I learned a ton of stuff. During the next couple of weeks I am going to share with you a little of what I am learning.
For the first part of my ministry I have gone FULL steam ahead. If you know me or know someone who knows me, they will say "Amen". What I learned though is that I need to be more intentional now than ever before in every area of my life. I have made a conscious decision to live intentionally. To not let every Tom, Dick and Harry tell me how to live but to live the way Jesus wants me to live that fits ME!
I am beginning to be more intentional about my health, spiritual growth, leadership, parenting, marriage. What this means to me is that I am no longer going to just let the day happen to me. I am going to tell every minute how I am going to spend it. I am developing a reasonable plan and following it so that I can be whole as a leader.
Now don't get me wrong, it's not like I have just floated all these years. I have an excellent executive assistant who keeps me on track and plans out my schedule weeks in advance. BUT I've realized that if I don't attack each day INTENTIONALLY I will not get much done for the Kingdom.

In my life I personally live with one intention to listen to what GOD tells me and follow , It is hard at times to do and it does not mean I am always as christian as a person would expect me to be. What it means is I am always faithful no matter where I may be in life. I my travels I touch many people and i am surprised how often faith becomes a topic of conversation. To me living with Intentionally is not adding structure to the madness of life but listening to the voice that lives inside telling to with a nudge , Speak, talk to them, give a buck ,stop for him, go in here...
Can you hear it ....listen intentionally and you will I know it .
I am glad to hear Chris is recharged he is a true warrior for Christ who loves everyone he meets.
