Sunday Night Mind Dump on Monday Morning

Okay, normally I will try to post my thoughts about the weekend on Sunday night, but I didn't speak today so I was out of my groove. In fact I had the opportunity to go and check out a friend/church planters church over in East Independence at Life Connection Church.  Had a great time hangin with Jason Allen the Lead Pastor there.  Then Sunday night I spoke to our key leaders.  We are going through some structure changes, so I talked to them about where we have been and where we are going.  I am transitioning for the time being out of overseeing our staff.  Our executive Pastor Dan will be taking the lead on overseeing our staff.  I am doing this so that I can focus more on my top spiritual gifts.  Working with the staff was causing me to get stuck in the day to day duties and then I had no chance to develop a good creative message, spend time with God or develop future leaders.  I am excited and can't wait to see what God is going to do.  

I talked about the lessons I am learning from Moses about leadership and how to make it the Looonnnnnngggggggg Haul.  Later this week I will list some of the lessons I am learning.
